Online Store Overview
Conductly's Online Store gives your music school a professional, public-facing storefront where families can browse your offerings and purchase lessons, classes, and programs directly. No need for a separate e-commerce platform -- everything is built right into Conductly.
What Is the Online Store?
The Online Store is a dedicated web page for your school, accessible at your custom URL. Prospective and current families can visit your store at any time to see what you offer, learn about your instructors, and sign up or purchase on the spot.
The storefront is completely open -- families never create an account, set a password, or log in. They register the student right on the product page, pay as a guest, and Conductly creates the student records, generates the invoice, and activates the enrollment for you.
Product Categories
Your store organizes products into three categories:

Each category gets its own section on your storefront, making it easy for families to find exactly what they are looking for.
How It Works
Here is the typical flow from the family's perspective:
- Browse -- Families visit your store URL and explore your offerings by category
- Learn more -- They click on a product to see details, pricing, instructor information, and available sessions
- Register the student -- On the product page, they answer "Who is this for?" (For myself or For my child) and enter the student's details. This creates the student (and guardian) records in Conductly right away
- Add to cart and check out -- They add the product to their cart, then Proceed to Checkout takes them straight to the payment page where they enter their card details and pay
- Enrolled -- Once the payment is captured, Conductly activates the enrollment automatically
There is no customer login anywhere in the store. The cart lives in the family's browser, and registration happens on the product page before adding to the cart -- not at checkout.

- Store appearance -- Customize your storefront's brand and banner colors, heading and body fonts, and per-category colors to match your brand
- Session selection -- For group classes and programs, families can pick from available sessions
- Instructor profiles -- Show instructor photos and bios to help families make informed choices
- Sorting options -- Families can sort products by name or price
- School policies -- Families must check "I agree to school policies and procedures" on the payment page before they can pay
- Discount codes -- Payers can enter a Discount Code on the payment page to apply promotional pricing
Your store is always accessible at your school's custom Conductly URL. Share this link on your website, social media, email newsletters, and anywhere else you connect with families.
Admin vs. Public Views
Conductly provides two views of your store:
- Admin View -- What you see when managing your store from Marketing → Store. You can toggle products on and off, edit details, upload images, and configure settings directly inline.
- Public View -- What families see when they visit your store URL. This is the polished, customer-facing experience.
You can switch between these views easily to preview exactly what families will see.
Getting Started
To start using the Online Store:
- Add courses -- Products in your store are created automatically from your courses. Create courses first in the Catalog.
- Configure products -- Enable courses as store products and add details like descriptions and images. Pricing is not entered in the store -- it comes from the course's billing setup and rates in the Catalog. See Managing Products.
- Customize your store -- Edit your banner message and store description directly in the store editor (changes save automatically), and set your Store Appearance, Online Booking policy, and School Policies at Settings → Store. See Store Settings.
- Share your URL -- Start directing families to your store.
The Online Store works hand-in-hand with your Catalog. Each store product corresponds to a course in Conductly, so your catalog and store always stay in sync.
