School Information

The School Information settings define the core details about your music school. This information is used throughout Conductly and appears in emails, invoices, and your online store.

To access these settings, go to Settings > School from the sidebar.

School Name​

Your school's name appears in:

  • The header of emails sent to students and guardians
  • Invoices and receipts
  • Your online store
  • SMS messages (when using the {organization_name} merge field)

To update your school name, edit the field and your changes save automatically.

Address and Phone Number​

Enter your school's physical address and phone number. These details help families know where to find you and how to reach you outside of Conductly.

  • Address -- Your school's street address, city, state, and zip code.
  • Phone -- Your school's main phone number.

Upload your school's logo to give Conductly a branded feel. Your logo appears in:

  • The top of the Settings page
  • Emails and communications sent through Conductly
  • Your online store

To upload or change your logo:

  1. Click the logo area or the upload button.
  2. Select an image file from your computer.
  3. The logo uploads and saves automatically.

For best results, use a square or landscape-oriented image. PNG files with a transparent background tend to look best across different contexts.

Timezone​

Your school's timezone affects how times are displayed throughout Conductly, including:

  • Calendar events and lesson times
  • Invoice due dates
  • Notification timestamps

To change your timezone:

  1. Open the timezone dropdown.
  2. Search for or select your timezone.
  3. The change saves automatically.

Changing your timezone affects how all existing events and dates are displayed. Make sure to choose the correct timezone when first setting up your school, and avoid changing it unless your school has actually relocated.

Contact Email Address​

The contact email is the address families can use to reach your school. It may appear in certain communications and on your store page.

Best Practices​

  • Keep information current. If your school moves, changes phone numbers, or updates its name, update these settings right away so families always have the correct details.
  • Upload a professional logo. A good logo makes your emails, invoices, and store look polished and trustworthy.
  • Double-check your timezone. An incorrect timezone can cause confusion around lesson times and invoice due dates.
