How Communications Fit Together

You can customize which notifications you receive (and how you receive them) from Settings > Notifications. See Notification Preferences for details.
System Emails vs. Custom Emails
Conductly sends two kinds of emails:
- System emails are sent automatically when certain events happen, like when an invoice is created, a payment is received, or a student completes registration. You can customize these templates in Settings > Emails.
- Custom emails are ones you compose and send manually to students, guardians, or groups using your saved templates.
Both types support merge fields so every message feels personal and relevant.
Getting Started
If you are new to Conductly's communication tools, here is a recommended path:
- Set up your email templates in Settings → Emails & SMS for common messages you send regularly.
- Create SMS templates in the same Settings → Emails & SMS page for quick reminders and updates.
- Review your notification preferences in Settings → Notifications to make sure you are alerted about the things that matter most.
- Check your Inbox daily to stay on top of new enrollments, payments, and other activity.
